14 11 2011

The Mayor of London has developed a new apprenticeship scheme to help people aged 19-24 to develop a career in producing outdoor events.

Culture Squad 2012 offers five full-time paid placements, giving applicants direct experience in organising a major London festival featuring live performances during the 2012 Games (July 21 to September 9). Organisations involved in the initiative include Arts Council England, The Albany, Barbican, English National Ballet, Roundhouse and Watermans.
